Yoga is for anyone who is willing to have a healthier, stress-free life. It encourages self-reflection as a way to inner peace and exercises both the body and mind. Artists benefit from Yoga in multiple ways.

At eAmbalam

To complement quality training in Indian classical performing arts training, especially, Karnatic Vocal and Bharathanatyam by leading performers and guidance by stalwarts, eAmbalam has a specialized Yoga division to cater to the students and performers of the artisctic genres.

About the trainer – Renjith Babu

A Master Yogi and a practitioner of Yoga since 1996, Renjith’s initial training in Yoga began in Kalakshetra and continued at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center in Kerala and Tamil Nadu where he was conferred the title of ‘Yoga Acharya’ for having successfully completed the Advanced Teachers Training Course.  Recently, Renjith had the unique opportunity to assist his Yoga teacher, Srivatsa Ramaswami in his work for his book called “The Complete Book of Vinyasa Yoga”.  He was involved in the research of the effect of performing Vinyasa Yoga on body organs and functionality. Renjith was also photographed and featured as a Vinyasa practitioner in the same book. Renjith’s expertise has been enlisted by several dance schools in India, Australia and the United States where he has conducted Yoga classes specialised for dancers at all levels of training. Renjith is also influenced by Pilates and is currently pursuing his interest in AcroY oga.
