Jathiswara (Female Voice)
Jathiswarams, also called Swara Pallavis are more sophisticated than Geethams. Students for the first time get to sing phrases where more than one Swara are sung to a beat, or example two and four and helps in improving Raga (Melody ) and Layagnyana (sense of rhythm) of students. It is very rhythmic and beginners, especially kids love it. These compositions also form a great repertoire for Bharathanatyam. Three Jathiswaram compositions will be taught in this course.
Students are provided with high quality in depth step by step instructional videos, watching which they learn and present the same during one on one online class with the instructors helping them to enhance their learning. Audio downloads, Shruti downloads, Notations, Glossary and PDF’s are provided to help the students in their practice. Students will have online assessments at the end of every module.
